Visy ANPR cameras utilize in-house developed license plate recognition software. Built and refined over decades, the software has, as a result, reached exceptional recognition accuracy across a wide range of vehicle types, plate formats, and environmental conditions. Moreover, with support for over 80 nationalities, Visy ANPR is deployed globally – at border crossings, container terminals, ports, industrial facilities, and logistics centers.

A key differentiator is built-in Virtual Trigger technology, which eliminates the need for external triggering hardware such as ground loops or laser scanners. Instead, the software detects and triggers recognition events automatically from the video stream. As a result, infrastructure requirements are reduced and installation is significantly simpler. In addition, Visy ANPR offers flexible deployment: it is available as a software license for integration with existing camera hardware, or alternatively, packaged together with Visy camera hardware as a complete, ready-to-deploy solution.
