Visy AREA is an intelligent yard monitoring solution utilizing RTLS (Real-Time Location System) – one continuous track for every vehicle, integrated across a network of high mast cameras. Every plate, container and trailer ID captured at the gate stays attached to the vehicle as it moves through the yard, projected onto a single GPS map and handed off to your TOS the moment it settles into a bay.
In RoRo terminal operations, when vessels are being loaded, every minute of uncertainty about trailer and container locations adds up fast. Visy AREA eliminates that uncertainty by providing real-time location data for every vehicle and cargo unit across the yard. Operations teams know exactly where each trailer is, without radio calls, manual checks or walking the yard.
