Our mission has been clear from the start: to develop high-quality, flexible software and integrate it with the right equipment to create solutions that actually fit the operation. Our OCR software for license plate recognition, container ID recognition, and access management have been specifically developed for the industries we serve and that focus is what keeps it performing.

Since 1994, Visy has been developing and delivering OCR solutions and access control systems with a clear focus on three business objectives: reducing operating expenses, optimizing safety and security, and increasing operational capacity. From the early 2000s, Visy expanded into marine and intermodal terminal markets – developing OCR software specifically for maritime and logistics gate applications, including container code recognition. This dedicated focus has led to proprietary technology, including patents for intellectual property in line scan imaging, that continues to underpin Visy’s solutions today.
